Shikara means "The House Boat" opened it's door on June 24, 2005.  This company has been in the Reataurant, Catering & Banquet business for more than 20 years.  Has been operating it's businesses under the name of Viceroy of India & Ashyana Banquets.  Founded by Surinder Jain.

Indian cookery is among the world’s most distinctive and enticing cuisines, one whose influence can be discerned in culinary traditions around the globe. For a cuisine to be exceptional the taste has to be enigmatic—this spelt the exact birth of Indian cooking that is being rediscovered at Shikara every day.

Over the generations, Indian food has taken on many shapes and forms, absorbing culinary techniques found in both eastern and western regions of the world. Through years of experience, our chefs can now offer a perfect balance of both the traditional as well as the contemporary forms that Indian cooking has developed.
